**Responsibilities**:
**a) Monthly Statutory Payments & Returns**:

- Make monthly payments for TDS, PT, PF
- Filing of monthly returns for PT, PF
- Filing of quarterly returns for TDS
- Issuance of Form 16, form 16A
- Monthly reconciliation sheet for all statutory payments

**b) Payroll Salary**:

- As per attendance data received from HR, calculation of monthly salary, LOP
- Individual income tax declarations at the beginning of the year, mid-year updates & year-end calculations based on investment proof
- Full & final settlement for resigned employees
- Salary data for actuarial valuation for Leave salary & gratuity
- Payment of arrears / increments with due updates in the HRMS software and working for release of the same
- Bank Reconciliation for all the bank accounts held by UWM
- Online payment Gateway donations receipts data import in Tally monthly
- Support for any queries/assessment from income tax department related to TDS payments & returns (Historical & Current)
- Support in internal audit & statutory audits - related to Payroll, TDS, Bank reconciliations, returns filed, Salary, Data import & related to the above roles handled during the year

**Profile Requisites**
- Commerce Graduate/ Post Graduate in Finance / Accounts
- Experience in filing statutory payments and returns online for PT, PF, TDS etc
- Minimum experience of 3-5 years in the field of Accounting / Finance
- Proficient knowledge of Income Tax provisions, statutory & regulatory requirements, tax laws applicability for staff salary payroll
- Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to connect and coordinate within the organisation and with the audit teams.
- Excellent knowledge of Ms office - particularly Excel is mandatory
- Well-versed with the Tally package
- Experience with the social sector would be an advantage

**Remuneration**: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the salary range is INR 5.5 - 7.5 LPA
