**THE BRITISH SCHOOL JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Title: IT Applications Executive**
**Department: Admin**

**Reports to : Technology Leader - Infrastructure**
**and Operations**

**Key Accountabilities**

Data Entry Related
Data entry and uploading pictures of new and existing staff and parents in Student Information

Management System(SIMS)
Resetting staff SIMS password, as and when required.

Report Related

To support the SIMS Executive with regard to the School Report, student and staff database and
reports.

To provide data on an ad‐hoc basis for staff;
Tracking student attendance on daily basis and taking out reports on monthly basis from Capita

SIMS
To maintain the statistical data and to import and export data/pupil lists from E‐Biz and STUDENT

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM to the VISUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT i.e. Firefly.
To log and report any problems experienced by staff using the software and provide solutions.

Firefly Related

To make sure accurate information of students and parents are available in Firefly.
Second point of contact for content uploading on Firefly.
Setting up Firefly helpdesk for parents / students as and when required.

**Experience**

Relevant experience 3‐5 years

**Qualification/skills**
**Minimum Graduate
Diploma in Information Technology will be an added advantage
