**Founder Profile**:
Arnav Kumar is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. Leap is his second company and he has raised more than $30M in capital for his startups. Vaibhav Singh is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design)

**About the Role**:

- Lead the execution of GeeBee’s event marketing strategy to engage with all players in the study abroad ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end management of internal & external facing events, including but not limited to strategy, creative concept, calendar and timelines, budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and overall operational coordination, to ensure successful outcome.

**The charter for this role will include**:

- Connect business priorities, objectives and key messages for events.
- Work closely with department heads and internal stakeholders to conceptualise, develop and conduct the event based on defined goals and deliverables, and within timelines.
- Assist with tracking of budget costs throughout the course of the event project and communicate scope changes that affect budget.
- Own the all event initiatives, from branding, agenda design, content creation, and venue selection to event execution
- Negotiate and run external partners/vendors for multiple events.
- Develop feedback mechanisms to synthesise learnings from events and incorporate them in future activities.

**Ideal Persona**:

- 3 to 5 years of event management or event marketing experience
- Excellent project management skills with ability to work on simultaneous projects in a high-paced, rapidly evolving agile environment.
- A team player with an ability to work independently and manage business ambiguities with a selfstarter approach.
- Experience in the study abroad industry
