True Fit Gourmet Cafe, an upscale dining establishment located in Bandra, Mumbai, is seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team. Our cafe is renowned for its innovative approach to healthy and flavorful cuisine, catering to health-conscious individuals and food enthusiasts alike. As Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high culinary standards and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

**Responsibilities**:
**Kitchen Leadership**: Lead and oversee all aspects of daily kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and kitchen & operational management, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to health and safety standards. Following SOPs in a very strict manner and making sure the team follows recipes and methods on point on a daily basis.

**Menu Development**: Collaborate with the management team to create innovative and nutritionally balanced menus that reflect current culinary trends, dietary preferences, and seasonal ingredients while aligning with the cafe's vision and concept.

**Kitchen Management**: Manage kitchen staff, roasters, schedules, including hiring, full end to end training, and scheduling, to ensure efficient workflow, teamwork, and a positive work environment. Training with the processes set up by the management team and making sure regular audits are done to check for errors. Customer food order flow management with timelines and top quality checks. Foster a culture of creativity, professionalism, and excellence within the culinary team.

**Food Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste through rigorous recipe adherence, proper cooking techniques, and meticulous attention to detail. Conduct regular tastings and evaluations to uphold consistency and flavor profiles.

**Inventory Management**: Oversee inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies, monitor stock rotation, and minimize waste through efficient production practices and accurate forecasting. Coordinate with management team for suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and optimal product quality.

**Health and Safety Compliance**: Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and hygiene protocols in accordance with local health codes and industry standards. Conduct routine inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

**Cost Management**: Monitor food and labor costs, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or guest satisfaction. Optimize kitchen operations to maximize profitability and achieve budgetary goals.

**Customer Experience**: Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences that exceed guest expectations and drive customer satisfaction. Address any guest concerns or feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as a Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or cafe environment.

Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals.Professionalism and high standard of working with punctuality and responsibility

Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence, with a deep understanding of global cuisines, culinary techniques, and ingredient sourcing.

Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and guests.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
