We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning and executing internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. The role involves evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. The Internal Auditor will provide objective assurance and insights to support the university’s strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Audit Planning**:

- Develop and implement an annual audit plan based on a thorough risk assessment.
- Identify key areas of financial and operational risk within the university.
- **Audit Execution**:

- Conduct internal audits in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, government regulations, and accounting standards.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare and present audit reports to the management, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify potential areas of risk and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and assess the university’s risk management processes.
- **Advisory Services**:

- Provide advisory services to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in auditing practices and regulations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the university.

Qualifications and Skills:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in an educational institution or similar environment.
- Experience with risk assessment, internal control evaluation, and compliance auditing.
- **Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:
