**Role Description**

As an Audit Junior, your primary responsibility will be to support the audit team in performing financial and operational audits of client organizations. You will work closely with senior auditors and managers to ensure that audits are conducted efficiently and in accordance with professional standards and regulations. Your role will involve a combination of fieldwork and office-based activities, providing you with a well-rounded experience in the audit profession.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Audit Planning: Assist in the planning phase of audits, including understanding the client's business operations, identifying key risks, and developing audit strategies and procedures.
- Fieldwork Execution: Perform audit procedures under the guidance of senior auditors, including testing of internal Documentation: Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit working papers to support audit findings and conclusions. Ensure that documentation is organized and complies with firm and regulatory requirements. Contributing to the drafting of audit reports and recommendations.
- Compliance and Regulation: Adhere to professional auditing standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements, such as those set by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks within the client's business processes, systems, and financial statements. Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and minimizing risk exposure.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members and clients to gather information, discuss audit findings, and address any questions or concerns. Clearly communicate audit results and recommendations to senior auditors and management.
- Data Analysis: Utilize audit software and tools to extract and analyze financial and operational data. Identify patterns, anomalies, or trends that may require further investigation.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on accounting and auditing standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes. Attend training sessions and seek opportunities for professional growth.
- Client Relationship: Develop a professional relationship with clients, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service. Understand the client's business and industry to provide valuable insights during audits.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to the firm's quality control processes by following established procedures, adhering to deadlines, and participating in internal review activities. Preparing the draft financial statements to a reasonable standard, free from quality control issues.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the timely completion of audit assignments.
- Keeping track of assigned tasks and ensuring timely completion.
- Carry out audit field work
- Maintain a good level of CPD record

**Skills, Knowledge & Abilities**
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Pursuing a relevant professional qualification (ICAI / ICEA (UK) / ACCA) is preferred.
- Knowledge of auditing principles, financial statements, and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS). Knowledge of UK GAAP will be preferred.
- Familiarity with auditing software and tools, such as data analytics tools and electronic workpapers.
- Working knowledge of internal audit methodologies and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and on own initiative.
- Two to three years’ experience in internal or external audit background.
- Ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely.
- Good organization and time management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
