**Position: Front of House Staff**
**1. Customer Service**:
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests by greeting them warmly, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor to enhance the guest experience.
**2. Operations**:
- Assist with seating guests, taking reservations, and managing the waitlist during peak hours.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the FOH area, including dining areas, lobby, and restrooms.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of essential supplies such as menus, utensils, condiments, and napkins.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
**3. Cash Handling**:
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using POS systems.
- Calculate bills and issue receipts to guests.
- Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to management.
**4. Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service, including checking identification and refusing service to intoxicated guests when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by promptly addressing spills, debris, or hazards.
**5. Teamwork**:
- Collaborate with other FOH and BOH (Back of House) staff to ensure seamless service and a positive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to relay guest feedback, special requests, and any operational issues.
- Support fellow team members during busy periods and assist with additional tasks as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures is a plus.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight] pounds.
- Comfortable working in a busy and sometimes noisy environment.
