**Job Title**: Staffing Coordinator - Weekend On-Call Coordinator

**Location**: Remote

**Overall Purpose of Job**:
To provide exceptional on-call support during weekends for our museum clients in UK. This role ensures smooth staffing operations by addressing last-minute changes, maintaining communication efficiency, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. A comprehensive handover to the weekday team ensures continuity of operations.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
**Staff Management**:

- Inform respective line managers of any staff sickness or lateness promptly.
- Actively source replacements for staff unavailable for their shifts.
- Coordinate additional staffing requests for the current and next day.

**Client Communication**:

- Acknowledge and respond to all client requests within 10 minutes.
- Ensure timely updates to clients regarding any staffing issues or changes.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Update the Excel spreadsheet with all relevant information and submit it to the client by the end of Sunday.

**Skills Required**:

- High level of written English and comprehension
- Experience of using MS Office, Outlook and Teams
- Attentive to details
- Effective problem solver
- Accurate and thorough
- Able to work at a varied pace when required

**Team Participation Responsibilities**:
To ensure the following:

- That you understand, question where appropriate, and agree the Team Objectives, KPIs and your own Personal Objectives;

- Attend one-to-one reviews and Appraisal meetings on a regular basis to ensure your individual objectives are clear and up-to-date
- Help and support new staff into their new role as appropriate
- That you comply with all Step Ahead processes and procedures to ensure that personal, team and company performance targets are maintained
- That your own time is effectively managed through production of a weekly work plan
- That you take ownership of work and contribute to making decisions
- That problem solving and creative thinking are actively applied to maximise on opportunities
- That you are a team player by supporting your colleagues as appropriate
- That you seek to continuously improve performance by learning and developing new skills and keeping up to date with latest developments in the sector
- That you undergo appropriate levels of coaching, development and support when needed; helping to identify your own:

- Development needs
- Development activity
- Expectations as a result of the development activity
- Actions to support the development activity
- Performance against business objectives as a result of the development activity
- That ideas and suggestions for improving performance are provided
