**Role summary**:
**Hiring for**: Merkle Sokrati - Dentsu International Company

**Location**:Baner, Pune

**Designation**: E - Retail AVP - Business Operations (Market Places)

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Overall responsibility**:

- Grow the Retail Media business for the agency through strategic inputs and day to day guidance to the e-Commerce team

**Capability development responsibilities**:

- Lead capability development and marketing initiatives for the e-Commerce function
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of e-Commerce services by existing clients
- Understand and stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape and internal product development efforts
- Drive internal projects to completion and enable team to address any challenges
- Update agency’s management on capability development, timelines and results

**Performance delivery responsibilities**:

- Manage, grow and develop a team of 30+ e-Commerce specialists
- Build thorough understanding of client’s business, category, product, brand, customers and competitive landscape
- Provide strategic guidance to e-Commerce team in developing strategic and tactical plans in line with client’s business goals
- Help the team to collaborate with Client Servicing managers, technology teams and platform POCs to implement and deliver on client commitments on-time and on-plan
- Drive strategic client engagements on performance strategy and, media planning; step in to manage client escalations when required.
- Be accountable for Quarterly Business Review meeting and showcase business growth to clients.
- Do annual planning & strategy preparation for the assigned portfolio
- Leverage extended dentsu ecosystem to build working solutions for the client Leverage extended Dentsu ecosystem to deliver overall ‘business goals for the client

**Qualifications**:
**Who you are**:

- You should have at least 7-10 years of overall digital marketing experience and have worked with a start-up or an agency in an operations/ account management/ engagement role.
- You should have Hands on working knowledge for Paid and Organic Media Operations on channels like Amazon and Flipkart for at least 3-4 years
- Experience of working on Quick Commerce and Social Commerce will be beneficial.
- You have strong program management skills including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong solutioning, negotiating and pitching skills. Must be able to exert influence and drive initiatives across the organization.
- You are exceptional at problem-solving, analytical skills and business understanding.
- You are great at articulating your thoughts and presenting a clear well-defined structure.
- You are a self-starter, Love Digital Marketing and everything around it.
- And most importantly, LOVE customers & strive for every inch of their satisfaction.
