**Job Title: Pricing Officer (Office Automation Industry - Printers, MFPs, etc.)**
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Market Analysis**:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior.
- Identify opportunities and threats in the market to make informed pricing decisions.
**2.Pricing Strategy**:
- Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to optimize profitability and market share.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing with business objectives.
**3. Price Setting**:
- Set competitive and profitable prices for various products, including printers, multi-functional printers (MFPs), and related office automation equipment.
- Consider factors like cost, demand, competition, and value proposition.
**4. Pricing Models**:
- Create and maintain pricing models to ensure consistency and accuracy in pricing across product lines.
- Monitor and update pricing models as needed based on market dynamics.
**5. Pricing Reviews**:
- Regularly review and adjust pricing structures to reflect changing market conditions and business goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and recommend adjustments.
**6. Cost Analysis**:
- Work closely with the finance team to analyze product costs, including manufacturing, distribution, and overhead expenses.
- Ensure that pricing decisions align with cost structures.
**7. Competitor Benchmarking**:
- Monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies and promotions.
- Use competitive insights to fine-tune pricing and promotions.
**8. Pricing Communication**:
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure effective communication of pricing changes to internal teams and customers.
**9. Data Management**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing data in internal systems and databases.
- Monitor data quality and integrity.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.**:
- Proven experience in pricing, product management, or related roles or min. 5 years, office automation industry preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools. Excel competency is a must.
- Knowledge of pricing methodologies, strategies, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
