Job Title: Social Media Executive
**Job Description**:
As a Social Media Executive, you are responsible for managing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business objectives across various social media platforms. Your role involves creating, curating, and publishing content, monitoring social media channels, analyzing performance metrics, and fostering community engagement. Your duties include:
- Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand objectives, target audience demographics, and industry trends. Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance targets for social media campaigns and initiatives.
- Content Creation: Create original, engaging, and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube. Develop content calendars, themes, and campaigns to maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging.
- Content Curation: Curate relevant and compelling content from various sources, including user-generated content (UGC), industry news, trending topics, and viral content, to share with the social media audience. Identify opportunities for content partnerships, collaborations, and influencer outreach.
- Social Media Management: Manage and maintain brand presence on social media platforms, including creating and optimizing social media profiles, posting content, and engaging with followers. Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly to inquiries and comments.
- Community Engagement: Foster community engagement and interaction by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Initiate and participate in conversations, polls, contests, and user-generated content campaigns to build brand affinity and loyalty.
- Paid Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize social media advertising campaigns using platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Twitter Ads. Set campaign objectives, target audience demographics, budgets, and bidding strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators to amplify brand reach, generate buzz, and drive engagement on social media. Negotiate partnerships, create influencer briefs, and track campaign performance to ensure alignment with brand goals.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, such as Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Twitter Analytics, and Google Analytics. Analyze key metrics, track campaign performance, and generate performance reports to assess ROI and inform future strategy.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about social media trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.
- Crisis Management: Monitor social media channels for potential issues, controversies, or negative feedback, and develop strategies to address and mitigate reputational risks. Respond promptly to customer complaints, inquiries, or incidents according to established escalation protocols.
- Collaboration and Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, customer service, and product development, to align social media initiatives with broader business objectives. Provide support and guidance on social media integration, content alignment, and campaign execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field. Relevant certifications or coursework in social media marketing are advantageous.
- Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or Later, to schedule posts, track performance, and analyze metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content for diverse audiences across different social media channels.
- Creative thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail in content creation, campaign ideation, and community management.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret social media metrics, extract insights, and optimize campaign performance.
