**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing and Procurement**:

- Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors for grocery items and dry fruits.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and availability of products.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive rates and favorable terms for the company.
- Place purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, replenishment needs, and product expiry dates.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust purchasing strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to prevent stock outs and overstock situations.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate stock movements and storage requirements.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming shipments to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Address any issues related to product quality, damages, or discrepancies with suppliers in a timely manner.
- Implement quality assurance processes to uphold product freshness, hygiene, and safety standards.
- **Cost Management**:

- Analyze pricing trends and cost structures to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies while maintaining product quality and availability.
- Track expenses related to purchasing activities and strive to optimize procurement costs within budgetary constraints.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the retail or grocery industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Salary**: ₹180,000.00 - ₹220,000.00 per year
