**What you’ll be doing**
- The User Experience Designer supports and executes a range of product design activities independently, covering the whole user experience lifecycle from discovery and research through to iterative design and measuring the success of those designs. They ensure that Openreach’s products and features are of the highest level of craft and execution, easy to use, and deliver experiences that create value for customers.
- Contributes to the delivery of initiatives to improve the user experience of our product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, technical designers etc
- Do interaction design and prototyping to define the order and experience of users’ activities at different digital touchpoints
- Design, create and iterate interactions into a simple and delightful user experience that’s accessible for all
- Consider information architecture, ensuring content is findable and usable
- Take part in user journey mapping with the rest of the squad to design end-to-end journeys based on user needs and data
- Discover issues and needs through regular qualitative learning such as user research and usability testing
- Analyse behaviours using regular quantitative learning such as data analysis, multi-variant testing and A/B testing as well as to prove the value of the UX work
- Develops user experience designs and prototypes at any level of fidelity needed independently, while being as lean and outcome focused as possible
- Present your work from ideas through to complete journeys, sharing the problem statement, user needs and insights to support your solutions
- Help shape the user experience best practice ways of working across our Openreach product teams including contributing to our in development design system.
