We are currently looking for Electrical Designer who can share a desire to be at the forefront of the oil and gas sector and deliver outstanding projects. The activities and descriptions below are the base roles and responsibilities for the Electrical design function, the list is not exhaustive and other roles and responsibilities can be added by the Company if it deems said role or responsibility to be part of the duties of an Electrical Design Engineer.

**Job duties**

These are the duties and responsibilities that an electrical design engineer has to perform. They are as follows. We are looking for **ELECTRICAL DESIGNER** to join our team.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Evaluate and implement design changes
- Programs are functional, easily maintained, and user friendly
- Designs are completed according to schedule
- Designs meet Afinitas engineering standards
- Designs meet or exceed all applicable industry codes
- Design specs, drawings, and bills of material are accurate
- Design electrical and automation systems for equipment
- Work with mechanical engineering group to integrate electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic design
- Create schematics and panel drawings for manufacturing equipment
- Create and complete bills of material for equipment
- Use AutoCAD, Microstation, ePLAN, Autoplant 3D, CADWORX and MS Office software effectively
- Evaluate and implement design changes
- Calibrate sensors and drives for machine control
- Technical writing and formatting manuals
- Trouble-shoot problems on automatic equipment by phone or remote connection
- All other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Technical 4-year education or technical 2-year education required
- Basic understanding of:

- Electrical systems including motors, AC drives, and control circuits
- PLCs and associated components
- Electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and components
- Electrical and safety codes
- Training and/or experience in using AutoCAD, ePLAN or similar CAD software
- Training and/or experience with ladder logic programming, Siemens TIA Portal preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt to shifting priorities
- Work individually as well as in a team environment
- Takes personal ownership and satisfaction on quality work
- Be available for 6 to 8 weeks of travel per year

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹38,639.86 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 5 years (preferred)
