Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
This role to work on the Day 1 reporting workstream of the Tesco migration program. This is one of 8 workstreams set up to deliver the migration of Tesco Bank into Barclays.

Scope of the workstream is to ensure operational readiness across all Risk, Finance and Treasury teams to meet External Reporting / Financial disclosure requirements post completion of the deal (target date 31st October 2024).

Initial Phase 1 of the program is to take us to migration end Oct, however there will be on-going requirements from Program to support further automation post this date and ultimately integration of Tesco into our native product systems.

What will you be doing?
- Coordination of report inventory and data dictionary asks across RFT functions.
- Liaison with Tesco colleagues to understand existing reports produced, data inputs, modelling and perform gap analysis.
- Work with FC, Audit and SOX team to ensure we have fully considered all impacts on the control environment, SOX requirements, KPMG audit approach and technical accounting policies.
- Input into preparation of materials for ValCom, Significant Unusual Transaction documentation.
- Feed into preparation of materials for Steer Co + other senior management program updates.

What we’re looking for:

- Degree educated from a top tier institution.
- Qualified Accountant with a strong grasp of IFRS accounting standards
