**ROLE**

The Associate Sponsoring Editor, Training and Assessments is responsible for identifying opportunities and executing on the strategy in support of training products in the US IT Professional portfolio, with a focus on assessments. This includes developing products that help learners pass high-stakes certification exams and gain high-demand job skills for IT professionals, including networking engineers, cloud engineers, data scientists, programmers and security practitioners.

The Associate Sponsoring Editor responsibilities include acquiring author talent, building partnerships with key industry experts, overseeing acquisitions and development of new and revised assessments products, overseeing acquisitions of instructor ancillaries, researching industry trends and competition, and maintaining existing author and SME relationships. In addition, the role is responsible for establishing the financial base of the portfolio by creating P&L’s and managing budgets to achieve profitability goals.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Function both as the primary stakeholder and the project manager for assigned projects and coordinate strategy and priority with discipline Portfolio Managers.
- Work alongside ITP editorial specialists to develop instructor ancillaries in support of their publishing programs, including instructor guides, PowerPoint decks, and test banks.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders including the Portfolio Manager, author/SME, tech reviewers and the production team to deliver products on time and on budget.
- Analyze product reviews and market feedback and decide best solutions for our customers that drive growth.
- Create P&Ls and manage overall portfolio budget.
- Manage revisions and new product development
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on revision plans, sales presentations and tools, courseware demos, etc.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
- A Bachelors or Master’s degree.
- 2-4 years of experience in editorial/ content development/acquisitions and/or product management field managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly analytical with the ability to synthesize multiple viewpoints into actionable plans
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Intellectually curious with a passion for solving customers’ problems
- Creative problem solver who uses data to inform decisions
- Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Oracle enterprise systems will be an advantage.
