Job Description

OVERVIEW

As the Payroll Analyst for India you will support all activities that fall into the Payroll function, reporting to a Payroll Manager and sharing duties with a peer Analyst on the team. You will be part of a centralised APAC function delivering core HR operational services across India, and in time that may extend to supporting other APAC countries.

Your key responsibilities will relate to core HR processes and continuous improvements:
Payroll & LMS Management (ADP Portal) Statutory Compliances for India

This role is based in Pune (Kalyani Nagar) and is full-time permanent.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities will be executing payrolls (via ADP), managing our leave management system, and conducting payroll activities related to statutory compliance within India and bring optimization in APAC region.
- Ensure monthly payroll activities are executed in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain all employee CTC break up files for new joiners and current employees, including mid-year CTC changes where applicable
- Collect and maintain all payroll-related information via our Workday system and other approved sources, for new joiners, leavers and employee. This information is shared with ADP as part of the Monthly Input templates
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as Finance, HR, bank representatives, ADP, Sodexo, NPS (HDFC) and Aon (Insurance broker)
- Manage the leave management system - calculate payable days for employees and track inputs around leave, extra working hours, work from home and deductions in payroll data
- Review the pay registers prepared by ADP for all employees and compare with the input files shared, and validate the same with HRBPs before final sign off
- Support payroll query resolution for employees
- Review (with support of relevant departments) end of year tax calculations prior to form 16 generation and support form 16 queries for employees in case of delay in response from ADP
- Ensure timely submission of PF & ESIC details to ADP for necessary contribution disbursement and handle audit queries for PF & ESIC (internal & external)
- Coordinate with ADP for LWF deductions and contributions
- Support the process and audit payrolls for other countries payroll in APAC region
- Harmonize the APAC payroll and ensure to standardize the payroll process cycle.
- Should be able to support our APAC HR partners in processing or checking payroll files as and when needed.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience as a payroll specialist
- Experience dealing with statutory compliance, CTC break ups and PF
- Experience supporting a complex organization with multiple office locations
- A strong Excel skillset
- Familiarity with process and workflow software such as Visio (desirable)
- Strong analytical and processing skills and high attention-to-detail
- Excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the end goal of customer satisfaction and quality service delivery.
