Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Toddler's Facilitator to join our early childhood education team. The Toddler's Facilitator will play a crucial role in providing a safe, stimulating, and enriching environment for toddlers under our care. This role requires a deep understanding of child development, strong communication skills, and the ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and growth.
**Responsibilities**:
Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that cater to toddlers' developmental needs and interests. Foster a creative and engaging learning environment that encourages exploration, play, and curiosity.
Introduce concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and basic social skills through interactive and hands-on experiences.
Child Supervision and Care:
Ensure the safety and well-being of toddlers at all times.
Create a warm and nurturing atmosphere that helps toddlers feel comfortable and secure. Assist with feeding, diapering, and other basic care routines.
Individualized Support:
Recognize and respond to individual children's needs, abilities, and interests.
Provide one-on-one attention and support to help children achieve developmental milestones.
Communication:
Maintain open and positive communication with parents/guardians, sharing daily updates about their child's activities and progress.
Collaborate with team members to exchange insights and ideas for creating an enriching environment.
Classroom Management:
Manage a group of toddlers, ensuring a smooth and organized flow of activities.
Parent Engagement:
Foster a strong partnership with parents/guardians through regular communication and parent-teacher conferences.
Provide guidance and resources for extending learning experiences at home.
Continuous Learning:
Stay up-to-date with current early childhood education trends and best practices.
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience working with toddlers in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting.
Deep understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Ability to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
Basic first aid and CPR certification (preferred).
Clear background check.
