Customer Care Representative

The **Chief Electoral Officer (CEO)** of the Delhi Election Commission is responsible for overseeing and managing the election process within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. This position involves a wide range of administrative, legal, and operational duties, particularly concerning the conduct of free and fair elections to the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Municipal Corporation, and other elections within Delhi.
Here’s an outline of the key responsibilities and duties of the CEO in Delhi:
1. **Election Planning and Execution**
- Oversee the preparation for elections, including the compilation and updating of voter rolls, and the setup of polling stations.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, such as government bodies, political parties, and civil society organizations, to ensure the smooth execution of elections.
- Ensure compliance with the Election Commission's guidelines for the free, fair, and peaceful conduct of elections.
2. **Voter Registration and Rolls Maintenance**
- Supervise the processes of voter registration and the maintenance of accurate voter lists.
- Ensure that electoral rolls are regularly updated to reflect new voters and any changes, such as changes in address or voter status.
- Implement systems to verify voter identities and ensure transparency in the registration process.
3. **Election Operations and Management**
- Manage the distribution of voter ID cards and other election-related documents.
- Set up and monitor polling stations across Delhi, ensuring that they are accessible, secure, and properly staffed.
- Train election officials and polling staff on their duties and responsibilities.
4. **Law and Order Management**
- Work with law enforcement agencies to maintain security and order during election periods.
