Key Responsibilities:

- **Instruction and Curriculum Development**:

- Develop and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Plan and implement a variety of teaching methods and activities to address different learning styles and needs.
- Create and use instructional materials and resources to support the learning of mathematical concepts.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and organized classroom environment that fosters student participation and engagement.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
- **Student Support and Development**:

- Provide individualized support and differentiated instruction to students to help them achieve their academic goals in mathematics.
- Monitor and assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback.
- Identify and address any learning challenges or needs and work with support staff as necessary.
- **Parent and Caregiver Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s progress in mathematics.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide updates on classroom activities and student achievements.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest teaching practices, educational trends, and curriculum changes in mathematics education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve instructional strategies.
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Keep accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and other required documentation.
- Prepare and submit reports on classroom activities and student progress as required.

Qualifications:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Primary Education, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 1-3 years of teaching experience in mathematics at the primary school level.
- Proven track record of effective teaching and student engagement.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
