The opportunity
We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking facilities executive to join our established and growing team in Hyderabad.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising all housekeeping employees and assigning work.
- Developing and implementing housekeeping systems and procedures.
- MIS reporting.
- Referring and following up on maintenance/equipment issues with engineering.
- Reviewing and monitoring daily schedule to ensure enough coverage for the day.
- Overseeing work of contracted labour regarding maintenance of the space.
- Monitoring the supplies.
- Managing and operating the housekeeping department.
- Daily briefing of supervisors.
- Overseeing day to day cleaning responsibilities of housekeeping team.
- Dealing with hospitality suppliers.
- Monitoring and performing inventories of housekeeping and pantry stock weekly/monthly.
- Generating MIS.
- Daily inspecting common areas and work areas.
- Ensuring that the caterers are maintaining highest standards of hygiene in the service area.
- Overseeing the pantry equipment and reprographic equipment operation during the shift and identify issues and take necessary actions.
- Participating in environmental management system.
- Supporting EMS representative in achieving the objectives.
- Participating in EMS internal and external audits.
- Following up actions based on various teams.
About you
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams. You have significant experience working in the facilities field. You have wide knowledge in chemicals and consumables. You have a bachelor’s degree with experience. Hotel management degree is desirable. You have excellent communication skills. You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
You are diplomatic and are able to handle and control difficult situations. You are able to solve problems and to make appropriate decisions. You are proficient in Microsoft Office and are able to use standard Word processing and Spreadsheets software. You are able to build strong working relationship with business to support the operations. You have analytical skills to control the expenses. You have excellent customer service.
