Introduction

What will you be doing?

Specific - 70%
- Responsible for the delivery and support of AWS Cloud Contact Centre Solutions
- Sound AWS knowledge level with hands on experience who can review AWS Architectures during delivery, support such solutions once live.
- Ability to co-oridinate with multiple teams across all domains. Also can hand hold virtual teams onshore/offshore.
- Level 2 incident management
- Participation in service reviews and post incident reviews
- Data & Configuration changes execution.
- Identification of service improvements and stability activities
- Complex issue triage, investigation and coordination to closure including leading triage on major incident calls
- Collate data for Proactive Service Improvement Initiatives (does not include code changes) including trending of incidents, root cause and other MI to identify improvement actions
- Own and Drive data for Capacity/Performance Management
- “On the ground interface” for business/change teams
- Ad Hoc Reporting where appropriate
- Reviewing of Implementation Plans & Release Documentation
- On Rotation Night shifts to support US working hours
- On call support and ad-hoc overtime as appropriate over weekend and off business hours.
- Maintain open and timely communication with relevant business, supplier and IT personnel, particularly Change the Bank development teams
- Drive complex or major incident resolution, implement or coordinate higher scale changes

What we’re looking for:

- Hands-on troubleshooting experience on AWS solutions, Contact Centre solutions
- Working experience on contact centre technologies like Avaya, Genesys, CUCM, Aspect etc.
- Excellent understanding of AWS Services in IaaS and PaaS
- Experience on Amazon connect will be an added advantage, troubleshooting through Cloudwatch and Log Insights analysis.
- Supporting design solutions in various AWS services like Cloudwatch, VPC, Lambda, AWS Connect, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, API gateways, IAM etc.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Stash etc.
- Experience with Cloud Formation Deployments.
- Experience in dealing with multiple vendors
- Understanding of Basic networking concepts
- ITIL foundation certified
- Knowledge of monitoring systems and concepts of large scale monitoring (AWS Cloudwatch, ESaaS, AppDynamics, Aternity)
- Ability to plan and manage own work effectively. Need to work during night shifts sometimes on rotation and also oncall support off business hours.
- Ability to work at pace, under pressure, whilst maintaining quality.
- Flexibility to react effectively to changing priorities and to willingness to step outside of role boundaries to achieve results.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- AWS Cloud knowledge & hands on experience
- Any AWS Cloud certifications preferred
- Experience with any contact centre telephony solutions
- Ability to pick up and take on new challenges, being able to assimilate information quickly.
- Understanding of risk and controls and how to manage them effectively.
- Understanding of CMDB management and control.
- Effective communicator (written and verbal) at all relevant levels of the organisation.
- Flexibility to react effectively to changing priorities and to willingness to step outside of role boundaries to achieve results.
