**Job Title**: Strategic Sourcing Associate

**Location**: Pune

**Experience**:At least 3+ Years

**Qualification **:BE Mechanical or a related field.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Sourcing: Utilize your knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and best practices to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
- Vendor Evaluation and Selection: Identify potential vendors, assess their capabilities, and conduct thorough evaluations to determine their suitability for our organization's needs.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable deals while ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Vendor Development: Collaborate with vendors to improve their performance, optimize manufacturing processes, and foster long-term relationships that promote mutual growth and continuous improvement.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize the supply chain for

mechanical components and manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes for mechanical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to sourcing mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and vendor dependencies, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to sourcing activities, vendor performance, cost savings, and quality metrics. Generate reports to track progress and communicate results to stakeholders.

**Required Skills**:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management within the mechanical components industry.
- Strategic Sourcing Knowledge: Proficiency in strategic sourcing methodologies, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, contract management, and supply chain optimization.
- Mechanical Components Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and industry standards. Familiarity with different sourcing channels

and suppliers in the mechanical components market.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Proven ability to develop and maintain strong

relationships with vendors and suppliers. Experience in vendor development, performance
management, and fostering collaboration.
- Manufacturing Process Knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including

machining, casting, forging, and fabrication. Understanding of process optimization
techniques to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and

interpret data to drive informed sourcing decisions. Experience in cost analysis, supplier evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Communication and Negotiation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence stakeholders. Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Quality Focus: A strong commitment to quality assurance and adherence to industry

standards. Knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies.
- Adaptability and Initiative: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritize tasks, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
