- What you will be doing
Job Description- Under general supervision of the Senior Director IT Sourcing, or delegate, the IT Sourcing Associate is responsible for procurement delivery of the strategy and management of IT Sourcing categories on a multi-country and multi-COR divisional basis. This role is responsible for the execution and compliance of IT sourcing strategies for all business units globally to maximize the overall value to Cencora. The IT Sourcing Associate, working collaboratively with both COR stakeholders and vendors, is responsible for finalizing requirements specifications for SOWs, problem resolution with IT vendors, and serving as a liaison to the business.- 1. Accountable for implementing in line with the established IT sourcing strategies for the respective categories.
2. Drives collaboration with internal stakeholders at the various COR business units as well as external vendors to optimize value on indirect spend.
3. Acts in accordance with identified expectations and priorities for achieving category goals and objectives.
4. Supports the identification and selection of suppliers to meet the needs identified across the company by competitive bidding, conducting value analysis, industry structure evaluations, and understanding total costs.
5. Identifies supplier performance concerns for respective categories.
6. Acts collaboratively with the rest of the IT Sourcing & VMO staff.
7. Represents and positions Cencora favorably with suppliers and acts as an advocate for Cencora interests relative to suppliers' actions and policies.
8. Continuously aligns to established categories strategies and management to ensure COR is obtaining the best price, product and services.
9. Collaborates with internal departments such as Risk Management, Finance, Legal, Sales and Marketing, HR, etc. in order to ensure the best interests of Cencora are met.
10. Utilizes guidelines and tools for strategic sourcing to procure technology goods and services in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
11. Participating in cost savings tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
12. Supporting information technology initiatives by understanding and advocating Technology Acquisition Processes and stakeholders.
13. Ensure technology procurement is executed in compliance with agreements.
14. Collaborating with internal customers/stakeholders on new projects/initiatives including support of Non-Disclosure Agreements.
15. Develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with stakeholders and vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.

- Additional Job Description- Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.- 1. Outstanding knowledge of product and global supplier base, product relationships and industry trends as specific to supported category.
2. Working knowledge of sales, purchasing, supply chain management and/or inventory management principles and methodologies.
3. Exceptional contract management and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment.
4. Knowledge of cultural differences and business practices globally.
5. Ability to deal with confrontational issues in a positive manner.
6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal stakeholders around the globe.
7. Excellent negotiation skills and contract optimization skills.
8. Strong interpersonal skills
10. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
11. Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices.
12.
