**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dim sum dishes, including but not limited to dumplings, buns, rolls, and desserts.
- Ensure all dim sum dishes are cooked and presented according to established recipes and standards of quality.
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new and innovative dim sum recipes and menu offerings.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper dim sum preparation techniques and presentation methods.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with special events and catering functions as required.
- Stay updated on current culinary trends and techniques related to dim sum cuisine.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Dim Sum Chef or relevant role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Chinese cuisine, particularly dim sum, with a strong focus on flavor profiles and traditional cooking methods.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious dim sum dishes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
