**Responsibilities**:
- Provide operational oversight to all Branches in the Region
- Periodic branch visits in the Region for health check compliance assessment.
- Improving day 1 preparedness for inspections. Maintain Satisfactory audit performance. No high risk points and reduce number of medium risk findings.
- Monitor and ensure complaints under Branches, RNO are responded to and addressed in a timely manner, RCA shared for gaps plugging.
- Ensure Adherence by branches on Guidelines pertaining to Master Circular on “Customer Service at Banks.”
- Support Business growth in driving branches to Spot opportunities wherever possible
- Various projects, Data Remediation activities to be driven at the Branches in the Region
- Monitoring and recon of GLs of the branches and ensuring KPIs, KRI’s are adhered to.
- Cost controls and saving initiatives to be driven at branches.
- Ensuring bank processes, policies are read, understood, disseminated for changes in a timely manner to branches in the Region.
- Any other job duty and responsibility assigned by Operations Head /RoH from time to time or on adhoc basis.
**Requirements**:
- 12+ years of Compliance experience in Banking Industry
- Knowledge of banking and financial services regulations/circulars
- Knowledge on all regulations of RBI.
- Sound knowledge of the overall banking environment (primarily pertaining to both Retail & Corporate Banking)
- Core understanding of Regulatory framework for Banking business.
- Strong on interpretation and assessment of Regulatory guidelines.
- Diagnostic skills and rigorous approach to problem solving.
- Strong Communication, negotiation and objection management skills
- Strong formal presentation skills to gain acceptance to solutions, both internally and externally
