Job Description : As the Hospital Manager at JKKN Dental College and Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our dental hospital. Your leadership and management skills will contribute directly to our vision and mission, as you oversee the hospital's day-to-day activities, strategic planning, resource allocation, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the institution's vision and mission to enhance the quality of patient care, education, and research.
  2. Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the hospital, including patient flow, scheduling, staff management, and resource allocation.
  3. Quality Assurance: Maintain and improve the quality of patient care by implementing and monitoring healthcare standards, policies, and procedures.
  4. Patient Experience: Ensure a positive patient experience by fostering a patient-centered environment, addressing patient concerns, and maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.
  5. Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the hospital staff, including dental professionals, administrative personnel, and support staff, to promote teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
  6. Budget Management: Manage financial resources, prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize revenue generation to achieve financial sustainability.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
  8. Technology Integration: Stay abreast of advancements in dental technology and ensure their effective integration into hospital operations and patient care.
  9. Community Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with the community, referring physicians, and external stakeholders to promote the hospital's services.
  10. Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training and development programs for staff.
  11. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement protocols for handling emergencies and crisis situations within the hospital.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A dental or medical background is a plus.
  • Experience: 2 years experience in hospital administration or healthcare management, preferably in a dental or medical setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills to drive the hospital's growth and success.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, patients, stakeholders, and the community.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and revenue optimization.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, patients, and external partners.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with healthcare management software, electronic health records (EHR), and other relevant technologies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing healthcare trends, patient needs, and technological advancements.
  • Ethical Conduct: Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and quality care.
