Responsibilities:

Accounting:

  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
  • Authorizing all payments done from the department before presenting it for approval to Management.
  • Approving all Sales Invoices before presenting it for signing before Management.
  • Taking care of Banking work related to Bank Guarantees etc.
  • Negotiating with Bankers and finding out new banking options in the best interest of the company.
  • Managing the debtors and giving insights in between to sales team for recovery activity.
  • Ensuring periodic confirmation of balances of Debtors and Creditors.

Statutory Compliances:

  • Meeting due dates of all statutory compliances as required as per the current government norms. (Currently for TDS, Advance Tax, GST, Professional Tax, PF & ESIC)
  • The above includes making payment of taxes as well as filing of returns on time.
  • Finalization of accounts, audit processes and interactions with Chartered Accountant for timely filing of tax audit report.
  • Assisting and monitoring any litigation work by coordinating with all external consultants. etc

MIS Reporting:

  • Supports budget and forecasting activities.
  • Make accurate and easy to read reports for management periodically as required.
  • Making any required reports for Management meetings.
  • Responds to any enquiries of management with respect to Accounts/ Finance
