Background -
We are seeking an experienced Packaging Lead at our Pharmaceutical manufacturing facility to oversee Packaging of Drug products, ensuring smooth operation, and driving continuous improvement to meet Packaging goals efficiently.
The ideal candidate should have a strong FMCG background and currently leading Packaging for large size manufacturing unit with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement packaging plans, schedules, and strategies to ensure efficient and timely packaging.
Monitor packing activities to ensure adherence with quality standards and packaging targets.
Determine and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, based on packing requirements and capacity.
Responsible for compliance to Quality Management system and delivery schedules on 100% basis.
Responsible for compliance of existing SOPs and procedures related to packing area activity.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal audits.
Responsible for ensuring SOP and other necessary training is imparted on continuous basis and completion of training for all packing personnel.
To ensure proper handling and disposal of in-process/batch rejections/scrap as per SOP.
To review/approve applicable documents and QMS activities (Change control, Deviation, CAPA, Risk assessments, APQR, Site master file, Validation documents etc.).
To investigate market complaint, deviations, OOS, OOT through packaging and quality teams.
Ensure investigations are performed adequately, and ensure that action items and CAPA are identified, addressed, and successfully implemented.
To ensure facility maintenance and ensure that all control measures to prevent contamination and cross contamination are in place.
To provide functional and qualitative inputs for identifying IT or automation solutions, design or configuration of its functionality and support its effective deployment for enhancing the quality and compliance.
To ensure EHS practices are followed in the department with zero accident occurrences.
Ensure Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) are followed in the department.
To represent in the internal/ external Audits and to participate in the self-inspection activities.
To ensure innovative ideas implementation on shop floor to improve productivity, system compliance and lean management.
Essential job requirements:
Understands the purpose and function of the area equipment and operations.
Proper Communication and Co-ordination with Subordinates and other departments.
Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and direction to packaging staff.
Ability to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and productivity improvements.
