Job Description: IT Architect & IT Security Expert
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile professional to take on the combined role of

IT Architect & IT Security Expert . This key position is responsible for designing, optimizing, and securing our IT landscape, ensuring alignment with business processes and data integrity across the organization. The successful candidate will create a comprehensive IT architecture map, catalog all systems, interfaces, and data flows, and implement a middle layer to improve system connectivity. Additionally, the role will oversee IT security and data privacy, introducing robust measures such as Single Sign-On (SSO) with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), mobile device management, and penetration testing. This role will work closely with the data team, external partners, and business stakeholders to ensure a scalable, secure, and efficient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Architecture Development and Optimization:
Create and maintain a detailed IT architecture map, cataloging all existing systems, interfaces, and data flows.
Align the IT architecture with the company's business process map to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
Identify and implement improvements to optimize the IT architecture, ensuring scalability and adaptability to changing business needs.
Design and introduce a middle layer to efficiently connect existing and new systems.
2. Data Integrity and Master Data Management:
Collaborate with the data team to ensure data consistency and integrity across all systems.
Define and implement master data management practices to maintain high-quality, centralized data repositories.
Monitor and improve data flows to minimize errors and redundancies.
3. IT Security and Data Privacy:
Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's infrastructure and data.
Implement advanced authentication methods such as Single Sign-On (SSO) with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Introduce and manage a mobile device management (MDM) solution to enhance security and track IT resources.
Conduct penetration testing in collaboration with external partners to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and standards.
4. Resource Management and Infrastructure Mapping:
Build and maintain a comprehensive database of IT resources, including hardware, software, and network components.
Monitor and manage the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring efficient utilization and replacement planning.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business process owners to align IT systems with operational and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with external IT security partners and vendors to implement best practices and stay ahead of emerging threats.
Provide technical guidance and act as a key advisor to leadership on IT architecture and security matters.

Required Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in IT architecture, IT security, or a similar role, preferably with a mix of both domains.
Proven track record of designing IT architecture and implementing security measures in complex environments.
Skills and Competencies:
Expertise in IT architecture design, system integration, and middleware technologies.
Strong knowledge of IT security practices, including authentication methods (e.g., SSO, 2FA), penetration testing, and mobile device management.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices in data governance.
Proficiency in system cataloging tools, architecture visualization software (e.g., Visio, ArchiMate), and IT asset management platforms.
Hands-on experience with master data management and data flow optimization.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design scalable and secure IT solutions.
