Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for an

HR Manager

at Mantra Gold Coatings. The HR Manager will play a dual role in

hiring the right talent

for the retail space and factory while also

keeping employees motivated and engaged . The role will focus on creating a positive work environment, fostering team spirit, and ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent.
Day-to-day tasks include:
Talent Acquisition:

Managing end-to-end recruitment processes for retail and factory roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Collaborating with department heads to identify hiring needs and create job descriptions.
Building a strong employer brand to attract top talent in the retail and manufacturing sectors.
Using innovative recruitment strategies, including social media, job portals, and referrals, to find the right candidates.
Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires to help them integrate into the company culture.
Employee Engagement:

Designing and implementing

employee engagement programs

such as team-building activities, games, and wellness initiatives to boost morale and motivation.
Organizing on-site events, workshops, and recreational activities to create a fun and inclusive workplace culture.
Conducting regular feedback sessions and surveys to understand employee needs and concerns.
Developing recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and milestones.
Promoting a sense of belonging by aligning employees with the company's mission and values.
Ensuring effective communication between retail, factory, and corporate teams.
Implementing initiatives to reduce employee turnover and improve retention.
HR Operations:

Managing employee records, attendance, and performance evaluations.
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Addressing employee grievances and resolving conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Developing and implementing HR policies that support a positive work environment.
Qualifications

Proven experience as an

HR Manager

or in a similar role, preferably in

retail ,

manufacturing , or

e-commerce .
Strong experience in

talent acquisition

and

recruitment , particularly for retail and factory roles.
Expertise in designing and implementing

employee engagement programs

and

motivational initiatives .
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with employees at all levels.
Creative mindset with the ability to design innovative engagement activities and recruitment strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle employee concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
Bachelor's degree in

Human Resources ,

Psychology ,

Business Administration , or a related field.
Certification in HR management or employee engagement is a plus.
