We are seeking a highly experienced, process-driven, and technology-oriented

Head of Fund Operations & Portfolio Strategy

to

streamline, optimize, and institutionalize

the operational backbone of our venture capital fund. This role will be responsible for managing

end-to-end deal flow execution, portfolio oversight, reporting & analytics, and technology integration , ensuring a

data-driven and highly efficient

investment lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring

deep expertise in venture capital operations, investment execution, and process automation , with a strong

technology-first

approach to

scaling fund operations and portfolio tracking .

Key Responsibilities

Deal Flow & Investment Execution:
End-to-End Process Ownership:

Architect, refine, and institutionalize a

scalable, structured, and automated

deal flow process , ensuring operational consistency.
Pipeline Management: Manage and monitor incoming and outgoing deals, tracking status, TAT , and pipeline health through real-time MIS and reporting dashboards.
Due Diligence & Compliance:

Spearhead the entire

due diligence lifecycle , ensuring seamless

coordination with legal, compliance, and financial

teams.
Transaction Execution:

Oversee the execution

of term sheets, investment agreements, and deal documentation, ensuring regulatory adherence.
Stakeholder Coordination:

Serve as the

operational anchor

between

investment teams, legal counsel, finance teams, and external advisors for smooth deal execution.
Process Optimization: Develop and enforce SOPs, process handbooks, and workflow automation tools

to enhance operational efficiency.

Portfolio Management & Post-Investment Oversight:
Portfolio Tracking & Governance:

Build a structured,

data-driven portfolio management framework

to track financial performance, growth metrics, and investment milestones.
Investor & Board Reporting:

Ensure

seamless communication with LPs, investors, and internal stakeholders through structured reporting dashboards and periodic investor updates.
Post-Investment Support: Implement a governance structure for tracking key touchpoints with portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with fund objectives.
Performance Analytics: Design and manage an MIS framework

for portfolio companies ,

offering

deep insights into financial health, strategic risks, and expansion potential.
Capital Calls & Follow-on Investments:

Work with investment teams to

structure follow-on funding strategies, capital allocation, and exit planning.

Operational Excellence & Technology Integration:
Tech-Driven Investment Operations:

Lead the

digitization of fund operations , integrating

best-in-class technology platforms

to automate and enhance decision-making.
Process & Workflow Automation: Implement AI-driven tools and automated systems

to optimize deal flow, document tracking, and portfolio analytics.
Fund Structuring & Compliance:

Ensure

smooth fund structuring, adherence to regulatory and tax frameworks, and operational governance of investment vehicles.
Operational Playbooks & SOPs:

Develop detailed

fund operations manuals, investment process guides, and SOPs to ensure scalability and institutionalization of best practices.
Cross-Team Collaboration:

Work closely with

investment, finance, and legal teams to introduce best-in-class operational efficiencies and tech solutions.

Reporting, Analytics & Performance Optimization:
Data-Driven Decision Making:

Implement a

comprehensive analytics infrastructure

to track

deal velocity, turnaround times, and fund performance metrics .
Real-Time MIS & Portfolio Dashboards:

Develop

interactive dashboards to track the end-to-end investment lifecycle, ensuring transparency and alignment with fund strategy.
Automated Reporting Systems:

Establish

automated investor reports, fund performance analytics, and deal flow intelligence reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Regulatory & Compliance Reporting:

Ensure all

reporting obligations, risk assessments, and governance compliance are executed with precision.
Performance Benchmarking:

Introduce

industry benchmarking tools to compare fund performance against market standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
10 + years

of experience in

venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or fund operations , with a strong focus on

investment execution, portfolio management, and technology-driven automation .
Proven expertise in deal structuring, fund compliance, and operational strategy.
Deep understanding of

investment documentation, transaction workflows, and regulatory frameworks governing venture capital funds.
Strong technical skills with experience in

workflow automation, data analytics, and fund management tools.
Exceptional ability to

design and implement process handbooks, operational SOPs, and portfolio tracking systems.
Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills,

with a structured, process-driven approach to fund operations.
Experience working in high-growth venture capital or private equity funds

with a demonstrated ability to optimize operational efficiency.

₹45,00,000 per annum
Fixed Salary:

₹36,00,000 (paid monthly)
Retention Bonus:
