Position Title: Salesforce Development Engineer

Corporate Title: Associate Vice President

Shift Timing : 2pm to 11pm IST

Location: MESI - Bengaluru

Job Profile

Position details:

Role Summary:

  • Develop and integrate all application requirements into Architecture design, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operational needs.
  • Develop flexible, scalable, and robust architecture for Salesforce to meet the dynamic needs of various projects on Salesforce platforms.
  • Provide technical expertise in terms of application development, mentoring junior developers, making smart technology decisions, etc.
  • Develop creative architecture and coding solutions to help the business.
  • Designs and develops reusable code using the Salesforce platform.
  • Deliver projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines.
  • Identifies and documents data and application integration requirements.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com development including custom objects, workflows, triggers and process flows. Proficiency in Salesforce.com development environment including Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, and Web Services.
  • Experience implementing Sales Cloud, Service Could, Marketing Cloud, Financial Cloud, Experience Cloud and Chatter.
  • Expert in Salesforce.com architecture, design and development. (Salesforce Web Services, Salesforce security model)
  • Experience with an agile delivery approach and best practices to software development.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and technical expertise.
  • Experience with Lightning UI conversions.
  • Demonstrated ability utilizing out of the box Salesforce capabilities instead of programmatic changes when applicable.
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce.com and Force.com with relational databases, 3rd party platforms, and Salesforce.com partner applications.
  • Experience leading development efforts and participation in systems implementation as member of a cross functional team.
  • Experience with leading and mentoring junior developers.
  • Experience with automated testing and deployment automation practices and tools.
  • Experience in Continuous Integration and delivery process (CI/CD).
  • Strong object-oriented development skills.
  • Certifications: Any of the below certifications
  • Salesforce.com Platform Developer 1 (PD1) Certification
  • Salesforce.com Administrator Certification
  • Salesforce.com Platform Developer 2(PD2) Certification.
  • Salesforce.com App Builder Certification.
  • Salesforce.com Sale Cloud Consultant Certification.
  • Salesforce.com Service Cloud Consultant Certification
  • Salesforce.com Field service lightning consultant certification
  • Salesforce Certification
