Data Privacy Consultant

Responsibilities Lead and execute data privacy and protection projects using platforms like Big ID and One Trust.
Perform data discovery, classification, mapping, and governance implementation to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, DPDP).
Work closely with clients to understand data privacy requirements and configure the privacy tools accordingly.
Knowledge in fundamental cybersecurity best practices.
Develop and implement privacy risk assessments and compliance reporting.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to design data protection strategies aligned with business needs.
Provide training, documentation, and user support on privacy platforms and best practices.
Monitor and manage platform configurations, integrations, and privacy workflows.
Stay updated on global data privacy laws and help clients adopt evolving best practices.
Qualifications Minimum 6 years of experience in data privacy, governance, or cybersecurity roles.
Hands-on expertise in Big ID and/or One Trust implementation and administration.
Strong understanding of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
Experience in data mapping, data subject rights management, and risk assessments.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Privacy certifications preferred (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CDPSE).
