Role Overview: We're looking for a driven and empathetic Pre-Sales Executive to support our sales pipeline by engaging prospective clients, understanding their needs, and matching them with the right tutoring solutions.
This is a consultative role that involves both communication and problem-solving skills to guide parents through the early stages of our onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities: Engage with inbound leads (primarily parents) via phone, Whats App, or email.
Understand the academic needs, concerns, and goals of parents and students.
Conduct discovery calls to assess student requirements and learning gaps.
Explain Mentor Match's offerings, tutor quality, and personalized approach.
Collaborate with the sales and customer success teams to recommend appropriate tutor matches.
Address parent objections and concerns with empathy and clarity.
Maintain accurate CRM records of all interactions and follow-ups.
Assist in trial class scheduling and ensure a smooth transition to the onboarding team.
What We're Looking For:1–3 years of experience in pre-sales, inside sales, academic counseling, or customer engagement (edtech background is a plus).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong listening skills and emotional intelligence to deal with hesitant or rigid clients.
Ability to understand and clearly explain educational services and match needs with solutions.
Comfortable working with CRMs and communication tools like Whats App, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-ups.
