Bookkeeper (taxation And Accounting)

We need someone who is not only detail-oriented and accurate but also sharp, proactive, and resourceful.This role requires strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, accounting standards, and taxation rules, along with excellent English communication skills.
You will be working closely with our leadership team to ensure our financial records are accurate, up to date, and compliant.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.Process payroll and superannuation contributions (if required).Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, Quick Books, or MYOB.Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal).
