In this pivotal role, you will be the day-to-day liaison between our product management and engineering teams, focusing on the execution of our product roadmap.
You will be responsible for translating product strategy into a clear, actionable backlog, ensuring that our development team has everything it needs to deliver high-quality, impactful features on time.This is a hands-on, execution-focused position where you will be instrumental in the smooth delivery of our lead quality platform for our Fortune 100 clients.
You will report to the Product Manager or a Director of Product, working closely with a dedicated engineering squad.What You'll DoBacklog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog for your assigned engineering team.
This includes creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria based on the product roadmap and business value.Agile Execution: Act as the voice of the customer and the Product Manager within the sprint team.
Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Requirements Clarification: Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team's questions, providing clarification and a deeper understanding of user stories and business requirements.User Story Creation: Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories that include acceptance criteria and dependencies, ensuring engineers can build solutions with minimal ambiguity.Acceptance & Testing: Review and accept completed work, ensuring it meets the definition of done and the original requirements before it is released to QA or production.Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate effective communication between engineering, UX/UI, and the broader product team to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.Technical Empathy: Understand the technical implications of product decisions and work with the engineering team to manage technical debt and ensure sustainable development practices.What You Bring3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within a B2 B Saa S environment.Proven experience working directly with an Agile development team and managing a product backlog.Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Ability to translate complex product requirements into clear, actionable user stories.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to unblock teams and keep projects moving forward.Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Azure Dev Ops.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science).Bonus PointsExperience in the Marketing Technology (Mar Tech) or demand generation space.Experience with data-intensive or integration-heavy products.Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.High-Impact Execution: Be the engine behind a dedicated engineering team, ensuring that high-value features for Fortune 100 clients are delivered efficiently and on time.Collaboration: Work in a highly collaborative environment, serving as the critical link between product strategy and engineering implementation.Focus on Delivery: This role is for a builder, not just a thinker.
