Compensation Highlights Top-of-market cash compensation (₹50–80 LPA)Free access to Stellar's employee-only investment fund Role Description We are recruiting for a founding quant researcher to own the research and closely collaborate on development: Develop advanced models for low-frequency predictions of returns and risks (primarily Indian equities, but including other asset classes)Build configurable, robust portfolio optimizers compatible with various benchmarks, constraints, and financial goals-based objectives Drive continuous improvement of alpha generation and capacity expansion Preferred Background Experience: 3+ years in quant research, quant systems engineering, data science, or machine learning Education: Strong academic background in quantitative disciplines (computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, etc) from premier institutions Prior Roles: Experience in quant investing funds, fast-paced startups, or relevant high-quality research publications AI-native productivity: Fluency with cutting-edge AI tools Or something untraditional that trumps all of the above Stellar Culture Fulfilment through the best work of our lives Pursuit of Excellence We are not a family; we are a high-performance sports team- and our sport is solving users' problems
