Role Description

We are recruiting for a founding quant developer to own the development and closely collaborate on research:

  • Build scalable quantitative investment systems and robust data pipelines (including proprietary alternative data)
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive platforms for alpha research, backtesting, and live experimentation
  • Implement advanced models for low-frequency predictions of returns and risks (primarily Indian equities, but including other asset classes)
  • Own DevOps and optimize critical components for speed

Preferred Background

  • Experience: 3+ years in quant research, quant systems engineering, data science, or machine learning
  • Education: Strong academic background in quantitative disciplines (computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, etc) from premier institutions
  • Prior Roles: Experience in quant investing funds, fast-paced startups, or relevant high-quality research publications
  • AI-native productivity: Fluency with cutting-edge AI tools
  • Or something untraditional that trumps all of the above
