Role Description

We are recruiting for a founding quant researcher to own the research and closely collaborate on development:

  • Develop advanced models for low-frequency predictions of returns and risks (primarily Indian equities, but including other asset classes)
  • Build configurable, robust portfolio optimizers compatible with various benchmarks, constraints, and financial goals-based objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement of alpha generation and capacity expansion

Preferred Background

  • Experience: 3+ years in quant research, quant systems engineering, data science, or machine learning
  • Education: Strong academic background in quantitative disciplines (computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, etc) from premier institutions
  • Prior Roles: Experience in quant investing funds, fast-paced startups, or relevant high-quality research publications
  • AI-native productivity: Fluency with cutting-edge AI tools
  • Or something untraditional that trumps all of the above
