SENIOR SALES MANAGER – Solar EPC SalesLocation:Gurugram Job Type:Full-time, Permanent Responsibilities Identify and generate leads inindustrial and commercial sectorsfor rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. Understand client energy consumption patterns and propose suitablesolar CAPEX / OPEX models . Present detailed proposals includingROI, savings, payback period, and technical feasibility . Develop strong relationships withplant heads, facility managers, purchase heads, and CXOs . Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve monthly/annual sales targets. Coordinate with the technical/design team for site surveys, proposals, and project execution. Track market trends, competitor activities, and government policies related tosolar net metering and subsidies . Maintain records of leads, opportunities, sales pipeline, and ensure timely invoicing and collections. Provide after-sales support, ensuring smooth customer experience and repeat business. Represent the company atexhibitions, trade shows, and industry forumsto expand business reach. Behavioral Strengths Excellentcommunication and negotiationskills with decision-makers. Strongpresentation and persuasionskills to explain solar ROI and project benefits. Confidence in handlingCXO-level discussionsand long sales cycles. Ability tosolve client concernsrelated to technical, financial, or regulatory aspects. Proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented approach. Experience Minimum5 years’ experience in Sales , preferably in theSolar industry (Solar EPC, Inverters, Batteries, Power Sector) . Must have strongconnections in industrial and commercial sectors . Key Skills Lead generation & business developmentin industries and commercial units. Strong knowledge ofsolar EPC, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems . Expertise inCAPEX, OPEX/Lease, and Open Access models . Familiarity withnet metering, DISCOM approvals, and government solar policies . Ability to calculate and presentROI, payback, and savings analysis . Relationship management withplant heads, purchase managers, CFOs, and business owners . Comfortable usingCRM tools, MS Excel, and proposal preparation .
