About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and language-strong SOP Editor who can craft and polish high-quality documentation required by students applying to universities abroad. You will work on a wide range of student documents such as:

  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Visa SOP
  • Letters of Recommendation (LOR)
  • Letters of Intent (LOI)
  • Resume (Academic and Professional)
  • Scholarship Essays
  • Visa Justification Letters

Your role is critical in ensuring every document is personalized, well-articulated, and aligned with university or visa requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and enhance documents to ensure clarity, consistency, tone, and structure
  • Tailor SOPs and essays to specific university/college requirements across countries (USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, etc.)
  • Work closely with student-facing teams to gather inputs and ensure documents are accurate and customized
  • Ensure grammar, punctuation, formatting, and sentence flow meet professional and academic standards
  • Maintain turnaround time and meet daily/weekly content targets
  • Stay updated on evolving document guidelines from international universities and embassies
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of student data
  • Ensure all content is original, humanized and 100% plagiarism-free, maintaining authenticity/uniqueness and student voice in every document
  • Coordinate with students, when required, to understand their background, goals, and expectations to ensure documents are personalized and aligned with their application intent.

Requirements

  • Exceptional Communication Skills in English (Verbal as well as Written)
  • Prior experience in SOP writing/editing and knowledge of study abroad processes is required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formatting guidelines as per University/Embassy requirements
  • Ability to handle a high volume of documents with consistent quality
  • Comfortable using content management tools and MS Word/Google Docs
