Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary
Head of Quality
to lead the quality assurance and control processes for our liquid products. The ideal candidate will oversee product compliance, ensure adherence to quality standards, and drive continuous improvement to deliver world-class products that align with our brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a robust quality management system (QMS) for liquid products.
  • Define and maintain quality policies, procedures, and standards across production lines.
  • Build a culture of quality excellence within the organization.

Product Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor raw material quality, in-process checks, and final product testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and procurement teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for quality issues.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure products meet all regulatory requirements, including certifications and audits.
  • Stay updated with national and international quality standards (ISO, GMP, FDA, etc.) relevant to liquid products.

Process Optimization:

  • Analyze production processes and implement measures to minimize defects and improve efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma or Lean principles.

Team Development:

  • Manage and mentor the quality assurance/control team, fostering skill development and accountability.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure all staff understand and follow quality protocols.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality metrics, audit reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Present regular updates to senior management on quality performance and improvements.

Key Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance/control, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in the liquids manufacturing industry (personal care, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals preferred).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of liquid product formulation, manufacturing, and quality standards.
  • Hands-on experience with regulatory audits and compliance.
  • Proficiency in quality tools like SPC, FMEA, and statistical analysis.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Certification in quality systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor) is a plus.
