Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Lucknow & Ahmedabad
Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth in our Tiles, bath ware and sanitary ware portfolio. This role involves identifying new opportunities, strengthening market presence, and driving product and channel strategies through market insights and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Networking
- Generate new business opportunities by meeting with architects, designers, builders, government authorities, and sanctioning bodies.
- Build and maintain a strong network of key influencers across the industry.
2. Target Achievement
- Responsible for meeting client acquisition and activation targets in the assigned region.
- Ensure sales goals are met across all product categories.
3. Specification & Conversion
- Drive product specifications, secure project approvals, and lead conversion strategies.
- Contribute market and sales insights to strategic business planning.
4. Customer & Channel Development
- Expand and retain customer base in collaboration with the sales team.
- Foster long-term relationships with key customers to ensure repeat business.
5. Strategic Revenue Growth
- Generate high-value revenue through deep engagement with leading builders, architects, government departments, and corporates.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on product management experience, preferably in Tiles, bath ware, sanitary ware, or home improvement sectors. Total experience 4-7 years
- Proven ability to manage product portfolios and collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a customer-first mind-set.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise across teams and geographies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics is a plus
