Key Responsibilities:Governance:Implement, and manage the organization's

information security policies , standards, and procedures to ensure they align with business objectives and industry best practices.Track and monitor the status of security governance initiatives.Risk Management:Monitor & measure the risk management process to the organization's information assets.Monitor the risk treatment plans to mitigate or reduce the impact of identified risks.Perform periodic security risk assessments, including vendor and third-party risk evaluations, to ensure alignment with the organization’s risk appetite.Collaborate with various departments to implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards such as

ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI-DSS

and others.Manage audits and assessments, including both internal audits and those conducted by third parties.Maintain compliance-related documentation and ensure that required records, policies, and procedures are up to date.Internal Audits and Assessments:Support internal security audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and the organization’s adherence to policies.Ensure audit findings are addressed and remediated in a timely manner.Incident Management:Collaborate with the incident response team to ensure incidents are handled in compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.Ensure that post-incident reviews identify areas for improvement and that lessons learned are incorporated into the organization’s risk management framework.

External Skills And ExpertiseEducation : Any graduate in Science stream or a technical diploma holder. Masters will be an added advantage.Experience : 3 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance roles within Information Security.Key Skills:Strong Knowledge of GRC Frameworks : understanding of GRC frameworks such as

ISO 27001

and

Other equivalent standards.Risk Management Expertise : Proficiency in monitoring and managing risks in an information security environment.Audit Skills : Experience in conducting or supporting

internal and external audits , including the ability to address audit findings and track remediation efforts.Collaboration and Teamwork : Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including Development, Infrastructure (AWS), HR..etc and senior management, to drive GRC initiatives.
