We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Food Technologist
to join our team in the nutraceutical/food industry. The role involves developing, testing, and improving food and nutrition-based products while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Experience Required – Food Technologist

  • 5–10 years of experience in food product development
    (preferably nutraceuticals, functional foods, food supplements, or pharmaceuticals).
  • Hands-on expertise in formulation, product improvement, and shelf-life studies.
  • Experience in production scale-up, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to quality assurance, food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
  • Knowledge of sensory evaluation, raw material functionality, and ingredient interactions.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, QA).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve food/nutraceutical formulations and processes.
  • Conduct research on ingredients, raw materials, and new technologies.
  • Ensure all products meet
    FSSAI, FDA, and international food safety regulations
    .
  • Monitor quality standards during production and implement corrective measures.
  • Perform shelf-life studies, sensory evaluations, and product testing.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams.
  • Document product specifications, trial results, and regulatory compliance reports.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, raw material innovations, and consumer demands.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in
    Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or related field
    .
  • Knowledge of nutraceuticals, functional foods, and dietary supplements preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food laws, safety standards, and quality systems.

Skills Required:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food processing techniques and product development.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, ISO standards.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and innovation mindset.
