Associate ConsultantAn Associate Consultant at Axience is hired typically from peer groups or related backgrounds with 0-2 years of experience. Detailed responsibilities may include (but not limited to):Be a part of the team working on various pharma / biotech / med devices business research projects aiding decision making for reputable large and medium-sized global corporates and consultancies, and be exposed to truly global professional standardsUnderstand research objectives, design partial or full research strategies, interpret and analyze information for accuracy, exhaustiveness, and applicabilityWork on projects ranging from analysis of scientific literature, clinical trials, market-entry study, market / product opportunity assessment, competitive landscape, among othersAlso work on projects related to competitor analysis, benchmarking, newsletters, company profiles, etcCollecting data & information from the public domain and through telephonic interviews with related industry participantsMapping industry professionals and their background to build analytical insights and for primary interviewsUnderstanding, analyzing and presenting the data and information gathered in the almost client-ready format in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Academic and professional backgroundB. Pharm / 4 yrs. Biotech / B.Sc. + Post-Graduation (Life Sciences)Knowledge of the Pharma / Biotech / Diagnostics industryKnowledge of drug development process, US / EU Life Sciences regulationsFresh graduates and those with experience in pharma / diagnostics companies as well as market research firms; excellent academics - top 10-15% candidates only the class in bachelor's and master’s degrees as applicableCandidates with 1-2 years of experience will be preferred

Required skills (for all levels):Exceptional oral and written communication skills (English)Quantitative analytical skillsAbility to balance hand on and hands-off approachShould be proactive in prioritizing and organizing the tasks to meet deadlines, while working on multiple projectsSuperior analytical, interpersonal skills and ability to dig deeper into the problems and suggest solutions
