Job Objective :
Design and implement an effective statutory compliances process across the group that facilitates adherence of all laid standards, applicable laws and ultimately ensures compliance on all HR statutory compliances
Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders (corporate & all units/businesses) to have full overview of all general labor law and compliance practices across the group.
Act as an expert to guide all relevant stakeholders and help adapt best practices on matters pertaining to Employee Relations and Compliance.
Job Responsibilities :
1.Strategic Responsibility :
Oversee the Compliances process at Medanta. Act as a knowledge powerhouse of this subject, guide management on various actions and also educate relevant stakeholders on compliance matters.
Ensuring 100% legal compliance w.r.t labour laws and statues. Formulate and implement the legal compliance management policies, procedures and standards
Provide consulting to HRBPs on managing disciplinary matters and grievance cases.
Develop & oversee controls to prevent or deal with violations of guidelines and policies.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of ER/HR policies, standards, procedures and guidelines in accordance with company standards and in ensuring relevance to local culture, labour laws, and practices.
Stay updated on all developments at center/state level that proposes any change in routine operations. Conduct thorough study/research of the change and propose thought through implementation plan.
Set periodicity to effectively review all processes, conduct gap analysis, report any severity, share feedback.
2. Operational Responsibilities
Closely work with relevant stakeholders in Finance, Legal, Compliance for effective execution of required tasks
Manage external & internal audits & inspections, submit findings, share key learnings and process improvisation plan
Liaisons with Statutory Bodies like PF & ESI, Inspector of Factories, Labor Department, Banks, Insurance Authorities and ensure compliance under various labor laws such as PF, minimum wages, employment exchanges etc.
Ensure preparation & submission of statutory returns under various platforms
Effective relationship management with all contractual manpower vendors
Any other duties assigned by the reporting authority.
