Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).

  • Manage user accounts, file systems, and system resources.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to servers and applications.

  • Apply patches, updates, and security hardening on servers.

  • Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and system restores.

  • Configure and maintain network services (DNS, DHCP, FTP, NFS, SSH, etc.).

  • Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and development teams to support business operations.

  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Linux Administrator.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).

  • Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python – optional).

  • Experience with system monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.).

  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).

  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, etc. – added advantage).

  • Knowledge of security practices and server hardening
