Job brief - Marketing Manager


Responsibilities:

Develop and implement high-impact strategic digital marketing plans to drive brand growth and enhance online presence.

Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g. website, blogs, emails, social media, and display advertising campaigns) to ensure brand consistency.

Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

Identify trends and insights, optimize spend and performance based on the insights.

Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience.

Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.

Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.


Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.

5-6 years of experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry.

Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.

Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, WebTrends).

Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.

Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.


Roles and Responsibilities of Marketing Head

Developing Marketing Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.

Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitors, and use this data to inform marketing strategies.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum ROI.

Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and campaigns.

Advertising and Promotion: Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns through various channels, such as digital marketing, traditional advertising, events, etc.

Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising.

Public Relations: Manage public relations efforts to maintain a positive company image, handle crises, and build relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.

Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics and marketing analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing marketing team, setting clear goals and providing guidance and support.

Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with legal and ethical standards, including data privacy regulations.

Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team and stakeholders on the performance of marketing initiatives and their impact on business goals.

Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for marketing innovation and improvement.

Vendor and Agency Management: Oversee relationships with marketing agencies, freelancers, and vendors, ensuring they deliver quality services within budget and deadlines.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks that may affect marketing efforts or the company's reputation.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and techniques to remain competitive in the industry.
